Sooo, Saturday the 8th October (omg I'm so far behind!!) Mystery Jets were playing in the Liquid Rooms, hadn't actually got the chance to see them live yet so thought it would be one to add to the long list.
Venue
So we were in The Liquid Rooms, the one and only place for a Friday night out, Propaganda is possibly one of the best nights out of the student week (unpopular opinion no doubt) Never the less, great little venue for a gig.
The Big Moon
I was ecstatic to find out The Big Moon were supporting. I've seen them a few times now, they were supporting The Vaccines and The Maccabees both pretty big bands to open for. Even for such big bands these girls weren't in anyway just supports in my eyes, they most definitely opened both shows with a bang and they know how to make the room bounce.The Big Moon are literally one of my favourite things ever right now, showing everyone what girls can really do! They are my idols! The foursome consists of vocals from the beautiful Juliette, lead guitarists Sophie, bass by Celia, and Fern on drums. I've been lucky enough to chat to them on a few occasions and they seem like such a genuine bunch of gals, so bubbly and full of energy, and it shows in their music and stage performance. I'm struggling to find any negatives here... they are such gems. They are Annie Macs hottest record with their newest single 'Formidable' which is available from midnight tonight(eek!!) While you're waiting for that to come out find them anywhere and everywhere, I guarantee you'll love them!!

So I've only recently got really into Mystery Jets, never too late, these guys are class, they're the type of band you stick on when you've had a really busy day and all you want to do is just sit and chill. Such a great live set too. The indie rock band consist of Blaine Harrison (vocals, guitar and keyboard) William Rees (guitars and vocals) Jack Flanagan (bass) and Kapi Trivedi (drums) They know how to fill a stage for sure, they have so much energy and so much effort and dedication goes into each and every song performed. They performed my personal favourite Telomere off their album, Curve of the Earth, which came out at the start of 2016, another of them being Bubblegum.
